Whether you’re wanting to preserve the handwriting of a loved one, or wanting a unique gift that has your handwriting preserved within the wood, handwriting recreation can do just that!
Recipe cards in cutting boards, a love letter on a wood round, the possibilities are endless! Plus, color can be easily included to fully capture the document being used, or you may request another feature to be added to create a gorgeous effect.
These custom-made handwriting preservation pieces are a unique and wonderful gift or addition to any home decor.
The pieces are created from recipe cards, letters, or other items with handwriting that customers send in, and the price is negotiated after the size and difficulty is assessed. Pieces run anywhere from $40 to $200 for the more difficult and intricate pieces.
***Pricing for custom pieces are dependent upon the complexity of the project and the wood piece to be used. The agreed upon price will be determined through messaging prior to any work being started, however the $40 will be required as a down payment as the design fee and will be deducted from the agreed total; a custom listing will then be created to finalize the fee prior to additional work.***
The size and difficulty of the piece determines the amount of time it takes before the item can be shipped.
The pieces shown are a wood cutting board that has been painted and sealed to be hung on a wall within a kitchen. Should you want a piece that can be functional and used in the kitchen, I would recommend not having the piece painted as I would be unable to seal and preserve the paint.
There are multiple sizing options as far as wood rounds, planks, cutting boards, and other wood pieces that can be used.
